Article 1 General
1.1 De Quilt Ster is a trade name.
1.2 These general terms and conditions apply to all invoices from and agreements with De Quilt Ster.
1.3 Any reliance by the Customer on terms and conditions that do not apply to these general terms and conditions will not be accepted by De Quilt Ster.
1.4 De Quilt Ster reserves the right to amend and/or expand these general terms and conditions.
1.5 Goods that have not been paid for shall at all times remain the property of De Quilt Ster.

Article 2 Privacy
2.1 The data provided by you will only be used by De Quilt Ster.

Article 3 Prices
3.1 All prices of the articles are, unless otherwise stated, per piece or per unit. All prices include 21% VAT, with the exception of books, which are subject to 9% VAT. All prices are in euros, exclusive of shipping costs.

Article 4 Images
4.1 All images, drawings, and data concerning weights, dimensions, colors, etc. are only approximate and cannot give rise to any compensation and/or dissolution. Typographical errors and changes reserved.

Article 5 Payment Options
5.1 De Quilt Ster does not deliver goods on account.
5.2 Goods will only be dispatched after your payment has been credited to our account. Depending on your bank, this may take 1 to 5 days.
5.3 Payment can be made via iDeal or by bank transfer to our account number (NL82INGB0007743412 in the name of De Quilt Ster).
5.4 If De Quilt Ster has not received the invoiced amount within fourteen (14) days, we shall terminate the agreement.

Article 6 Shipping
6.1 Shipping costs depend on the country of residence, the size of the articles, and whether shipment is by letter post or parcel. Rates are based on PostNL. Shipping costs may be adjusted.
6.2 The delivery time of orders is within five (5) working days. This delivery time is indicative only and not a strict deadline.
6.3 The delivery time commences once the Customer has paid the invoiced amount and it has been credited to the account of De Quilt Ster.
6.4 The Customer is obliged to accept the purchased goods at the moment they are made available to them or handed over.
6.5 If the Customer refuses acceptance or is negligent in providing information or instructions necessary for delivery, the goods intended for delivery will be stored at the Customer’s risk after De Quilt Ster has informed them. In such case, the Customer shall bear all additional costs.
6.6 If De Quilt Ster requires data from the Customer for the execution of the agreement, the delivery period will not commence until the Customer has provided these to De Quilt Ster.
6.7 De Quilt Ster is not obliged to restock products once delivered, if such products have been discontinued by us or our suppliers, or have otherwise been removed from our sales program.
6.8 Exceeding a delivery date never entitles the Customer to any form of compensation against De Quilt Ster.

Article 7 Order Cancellation
7.1 The cancellation of an order must be made within twenty-four (24) hours.
7.2 Dissolution of the agreement pursuant to Article 7.1 must be notified in writing (via letter or e-mail) to De Quilt Ster by the Customer.

Article 8 Warranty / Returns
8.1 Damage to articles must always be reported by e-mail (info@dequiltster.com) within 24 hours after receipt of the order.
8.2 We make every effort to pack your order as carefully as possible. If something is not in order upon receipt, please notify us as soon as possible. In consultation with you, we will provide an appropriate solution.
8.3 You may register your product within 14 days after receipt of your order. This can be done by phone or e-mail, after which you will receive the return instructions. You must return your product to us within 14 days after receiving the return instructions. The costs of return shipment are borne by the Customer.
If you return the entire order, we will also refund the shipping costs. If you return only part of your order, we will only credit the relevant article.
8.4 Excluded from the right of return are discounted articles, cut-to-size articles, specially ordered articles, and magazines.

Article 9 Courses & Workshops
9.1 Registration for a course can be made via the webshop, e-mail, or in person in the store.
9.2 Registrations are processed in order of payment. Registration, and thereby participation, is only final after receipt of the full course fee.
9.3 De Quilt Ster reserves the right to cancel or reschedule courses to another date in case of insufficient participation.
9.4 In case of absence due to force majeure or illness of the instructor, a new date will be scheduled in consultation or the full course fee will be refunded.
9.5 For cancellations up to 30 days prior to the start of the course, no costs will be charged. The course fee will be refunded in full.
For cancellations up to 15 days prior to the start of the course, 50% of the course fee will be charged.
For cancellations up to 7 days prior to the start of the course, 75% of the course fee will be charged.
For cancellations within 7 days prior to the start of the course, 100% of the course fee will be charged.
A substitute participant may always be provided.
9.6 Article 9.5 does not apply if it concerns a course by Wilma Bruins. In case of cancellation of a workshop by Wilma Bruins up to 30 days prior to the start, no costs will be charged. The course fee will be refunded in full.
For cancellations within 30 days prior to the start of the course, 100% of the course fee will be charged. A substitute participant may always be provided.

Article 10 Gift Vouchers
10.1 Obtained gift vouchers are valid only once per person and can be redeemed until the expiry date stated on them.
10.2 Gift vouchers can be redeemed both in-store and digitally.

Article 11 QuiltSterretjes Loyalty Program
11.1 Both webshop and in-store purchases count towards loyalty points. No points are awarded for the following products: shipping costs, courses, workshops, books, clubs, block-of-the-month projects, gift vouchers, special offers, and discounted items.
11.2 De Quilt Ster reserves the right to amend these loyalty program rules without further justification and without individually notifying participants of such changes. By participating, you agree to these rules.
11.3 QuiltSterretjes points are not issued retroactively. The Customer is at all times responsible for keeping track of and redeeming their saved points.
11.4 If you redeem QuiltSterretjes and send them by post, the free fabric swatch will be included with your next order. If you do not place an order, shipping costs will be charged for sending the free fabric swatch.

Article 12 Payment via PayPal
12.1 If the Customer makes a payment via PayPal and the Agreement cannot proceed for any reason, the Seller shall refund the amount paid by the Customer, minus the transaction costs withheld by PayPal. These costs are charged and withheld by PayPal and are therefore not refunded by the Seller.

Article 13 Privacy Statement – How We Handle Your Data
13.1 All information provided by you will never be sold or traded to third parties. This data will solely be used to process your order.
