Painters Threads Cotton Braided Floss is a soft braided cotton ribbon that is versatile and easy to use. By gently pulling one of the braided strands, the ribbon naturally creates a beautiful gathered (rouched) effect.
It is ideal for ribbon embroidery, Crazy Quilting, decorative stitching and a wide variety of creative textile techniques. The hand dyed colours add richness and unique character to every project.
Each ribbon is individually hand dyed using an exclusive dyeing technique. As a result, every ribbon is unique, with subtle variations in colour and shading between dye lots. These gentle colour transitions give embroidery a natural, vibrant appearance and make every project one of a kind. All 40 colours in the collection are designed to harmonise beautifully with one another.
