A Quilt Day with… Jenny Bear!
If you joined us last time, you already know what an incredibly fun and inspiring day it is with Australian Jenny Bear. Since the release of her book with Quiltmania, Jenny has been a guest instructor at De Quilt Ster several times, and we can never get enough! She prefers to work with classic fabrics, but this versatile quilter is open to all styles, which is why her workshops are so popular every time.
In 2026, Jenny will be visiting again, and this time we’re hosting a DOLL QUILT DAY! Jenny will bring along numerous inspiring small doll quilts to get you started, or you can work on a design she has specially prepared for us. Prefer working on one of Jenny’s larger quilts? That’s perfectly fine too!
Doll Quilt Swap
If you follow Jenny on Instagram, you’ll know she is absolutely obsessed with the #dollquiltswap! For this special day, we’re giving participants the opportunity to swap pre-made doll quilts. Participation is optional, so feel free to join in or not!
Doll quilts were traditionally made for children or by children themselves, so they were simple yet charming. Jenny encourages us to continue this tradition and create your own doll quilt:
